We have met our financial goals and the Class of 2016 Safe Graduation Party is on!!!  Thank you for your support throughout the year.  It is with your help that our fundraising efforts have been successful and that we are able to provide this exciting evening FREE OF CHARGE to all students in the SHS Class of 2016 graduating class.  All that is required to attend is a signed contract/permission slip.

Attached you will find the Safe Grad 16 Student - Parent Contract. Please read it over with your student.  

Completed contracts must be passed in no later than June 1st; however, we would like to encourage students to pass the contract in ASAP.  

Completed contracts may be placed in the designated collection box in the SHS Main Office.

Thank you in advance for completing this time sensitive task.

The below contract has been distributed to all Senior students in school plus emailed out to Senior families. If you need a clean copy emailed to you, please contact Kristen or Patty (see below for contact info).

The flamingos have flown south for a much earned vacation.  

Thank you to everyone who participated in our flamingo fundraiser and in ALL of our fundraisers this school year.

WE HAVE REACHED OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL!!

Dear Parents of SHS Class of 2016 Grad-toBe,

As you know a small committee of parent volunteers has been working to make a fantastic and safe graduation party for our soon-to-be graduates.  On Saturday night, we had a great outpouring of support from the SHS community and the greater Stonington community. Our big event at the Mystic Aquarium was called the Flamingle Fiesta.  It was a HUGE success thanks to the efforts of many of you. We want to take this opportunity thank you for supporting the SHS Class of 2016 Safe Grad Party. The event was a blast and a great success!!

We also want to take this opportunity to thank the Mystic Aquarium for providing the venue and the band, Styff Kitty, for entertaining us all night long.  We had many sponsors that donated silent auction items and basket raffle items. Please be sure to thank them when you are around town.

There were too many volunteers to name them all, but there was one core group of dedicated people that had a vision and made it all happen - Joelle Wellermans, Deb Turrisi, Amy Arruda, Patty Frosti, Tamera Angus, and Susan Sainsbury. It really takes a lot of energy and organization to put together such a successful event!!  We all really appreciate it.
